Here we are changing from the old Carrera 124 guide to the improved 124 guide. It's well worth the investment. Remove the 4 screws and remove the chassis from the body.
Below is the new guide.
Here you will need to remove the chip and unplug the guide wire. Next, with needle nose pliers pull out the chrome pin towards the driver side of the car. Pay close attention the spring. The short end of the spring will go into the guide. Feed your wire through and replace the pin for the new guide. Screw the body back on and enjoy!
